Sermoni Terms of Service
Last updated: July 19, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
Sermoni is a product of Healthy Church Systems, a DBA of Christianpreneur Holdings Company ("Sermoni," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Sermoni, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Sermoni.
2. What Sermoni Is
Sermoni is a collaborative sermon and teaching preparation tool built for pastors and ministry leaders. Sermoni is designed to assist you in organizing, developing, and refining your own sermons, lessons, and teaching content, drawing on your own study, convictions, and ministry context.
Sermoni does not write your sermons for you. It is a co-author, not a generator: you supply the substance (your study, your convictions, your applications), and Sermoni helps you organize, compose, and refine it. Sermoni does not function as, and should not be relied upon as, a substitute for your own theological study, pastoral judgment, or spiritual discernment.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Sermoni account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@healthychurch.systems if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Plans
Sermoni offers subscription plans as described on our pricing page, including a limited-time "Founding Church" offer at a discounted monthly rate, available to the first 100 churches or for 60 days from launch, whichever comes first. Once that offer closes, new subscribers will be billed at then-current standard pricing.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise stated) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
4.4 Founding Church Pricing
Founding Church pricing is honored for as long as your subscription remains active, in good standing, and continuous. This is a loyalty rate for uninterrupted subscribers, not a lifetime entitlement independent of active use.
If you cancel your Founding Church subscription for any reason and later wish to rejoin Sermoni, you will be subscribed at the standard pricing in effect at the time you rejoin, not the original Founding Church rate. Founding Church pricing does not carry over to a new subscription period once continuity has been broken, regardless of how long you were previously subscribed at that rate.
5. Your Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of the sermons, lessons, notes, and other content you create using Sermoni ("Your Content"). We do not claim any ownership interest in Your Content.
5.2 License to Us
You grant Sermoni a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the service to you (for example, saving it to your Teaching Library, or processing it through our AI service provider to generate collaborative responses within your session). This license ends when you delete the applicable content or close your account, subject to our data retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the theological accuracy, doctrinal soundness, and pastoral appropriateness of any content you produce using Sermoni, including content Sermoni helped you organize or refine. Sermoni is a tool to assist your preparation; it does not review, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of your final sermon or teaching content.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Sermoni to:
- Generate or distribute content that violates applicable law
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying prompts, models, or systems powering Sermoni
- Share your account access with others outside your own ministry use
- Use the service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair Sermoni's infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. AI-Assisted Features — Disclaimer
Sermoni's collaborative features are powered in part by third-party AI technology (currently Anthropic's Claude). While Sermoni is designed to help you organize and develop your own material faithfully, AI-generated suggestions, phrasing, or organizational assistance may occasionally be imperfect or require your review and correction. You are responsible for reviewing all content before using it in your ministry context. Sermoni is not a theological authority and does not make doctrinal determinations on your behalf.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to Sermoni if you violate these Terms, or for other legitimate business reasons, with notice where reasonably practicable.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Sermoni is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sermoni and its owners, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Sermoni will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice within the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of Sermoni after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Sermoni will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
